My Name is Ulrika Ferstl. I was born in the upper Styria in Leoben.I went to Graz where I completed my qualification as a Biomedical Technician.

I started to work on the department of Human Genetics on the Medical University of Graz.It was quite interesting but I could feel there is more to explore. So I finally landed in the CAMD group of Pedro Sanchez Murcia where I work as a Lab Manager of the wet lab.And I can tell you now-there is a lot to explore- every day!

Outside of work I love to be in nature, relax by practicing Yoga and spend the rest of my time with my family and my two cats.
