About
The first edition of the Workshop on Computer-Aided Drug Discovery (course id. 0074.008) aims to bring together experts in the field of computational drug discovery to provide a hands-on workshop for the PhD students of the Molecular Medicine Program and other PhD Students of the area of Graz. External PhD Students are also welcome. The participants will receive the basics of theory of CADD techniques in morning sessions. After lunch, the students will practice this know-how in the computer with guided showcases. Expected outcomes are to empower our university’s new generation of PhD students with state-of-the-art computational and theoretical tools that can make the difference in their professional careers.
TARGET GROUP
PhD students of the MolMed program and other PhD programs at the Med Uni Graz/ Uni Graz/ TU Graz, and external PhD students with different backgrounds (Biology, Chemistry, Biophysics, Pharmacology, Medicine). Due to the limitation of space, only PhD Students will be considered for the lectures.
WORKSHOP FEE
The workshop is free for PhD Students of the Universities of Graz. External PhD students have a fee of 50.- EUR.
LENGUAGE
The official language of the workshop is English and it will be held on site in Graz (no online mode is planned).
